Savvy signs MoUs with Gosu and Warpzone

Saudi Arabia’s Savvy Games Group has signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Gosu Academy and Warpzone AI Labs, with the agreements focused on talent development, training and AI in gaming.
The agreements were signed at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh and form part of Savvy’s efforts to develop Saudi talent and strengthen gaming capabilities in the Kingdom.
Under its agreement with Gosu Academy, Savvy will explore opportunities across games and esports education, including career readiness, experiential and gamified learning and simulation-based training.
The two companies will also explore educational programmes covering areas including game development, game design and esports management, as well as potential collaboration with academic institutions and other organisations in Saudi Arabia.
The agreement with Warpzone AI Labs will focus on knowledge transfer and mentorship in AI-native game development.
Savvy and Warpzone will also explore the potential establishment of a local research and development lab focused on AI-native game development and testing.
The proposed lab could support areas including AI-driven development workflows, testing and other applications of the technology within game production.
The two MoUs place a particular emphasis on building local skills and expertise, with Savvy saying the partnerships will support efforts to develop Saudi talent and strengthen capabilities across the Kingdom’s games industry.
The agreements come as Savvy continues to work with international and local partners across game development, esports and industry development as part of Saudi Arabia’s wider ambitions for the sector.
