Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) is set to host Gaming & AI Tech Talks: South Korea Edition on September 9 as part of its Made For Trade Live series, with the online webinar aimed at South Korean gaming, AI and technology companies considering expansion into Dubai and international markets.
The event will run from 11am to 12pm Gulf Standard Time, or 4pm to 5pm in South Korea, and is being held in partnership with NEXUS HUB FZCO and AGCC.
Topics will include establishing a gaming or AI business in Dubai, specialised licensing, flexible workspaces, accelerator programmes and funding opportunities. The webinar will also examine Dubai's potential as a base for accessing markets across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia, alongside examples of South Korean technology companies operating in the emirate.
Belal Jassoma, Senior Director of Tech Ecosystems at DMCC, will open the event, followed by a presentation from Bassel Bitar, Senior Manager for Corporate Sales at DMCC, titled Plan Your Next Phase of Global Growth with DMCC.
A panel discussion titled How a Leading Free Zone Supports Tech Business Growth will feature Jason Kim, General Manager of NEXUS HUB FZCO; Chiara de Caro, Co-founder and Managing Partner of AGCC; Salman Amiri, Manager of the DMCC AI Centre; and Zain Al Qudah, Manager of the DMCC Gaming Centre. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
The Made For Trade Live event continues DMCC's efforts to strengthen its relationship with South Korea's technology sector. In September 2025, DMCC signed a strategic partnership with South Korea's National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) focused on cooperation in AI and ICT and supporting the international expansion of Korean startups through Dubai. At the time, DMCC said more than 110 South Korean companies were based within its business district.
The Gaming & AI Tech Talks: South Korea Edition is free to attend and will be conducted via Zoom, with access details provided following registration.
