GameDevTober, a five-day online event featuring nine Saudi game studio CEOs, will take place from October 25 to 29, offering developers an opportunity to learn from the experiences of industry professionals.

Organised by Saudi game developer ZOHAL and hosted by the Saudi Game Developers Community (SGDC), the event will feature nine sessions exploring the journeys behind games developed by Saudi studios, from their initial concepts through to launch.

The programme will bring together Ibrahim Al Hawti of ZOHAL, Zeyad Kurdi of Sasorisoft, Abdullah Albukhari of Entropy Minds, Ahmed Albastaki of TWWStudios and Tariq Abu Alhasan of Dark Arts Productions.

They will be joined by Mohammed Alyami of ThreePixels, Abdullah Alhejji of Gifiring, Abdulrahman Almunaiee of Aiqona Productions and Yahya Alshahrani of Neurospike Softworks.

The event places a focus on knowledge-sharing within Saudi Arabia's independent game-development community, bringing together studio leaders to discuss the practical experience of developing and releasing games. Its emphasis on founders' experiences offers a different perspective from more formal training programmes aimed at developing technical skills.

According to the organisers, the sessions are intended for both aspiring game developers and existing studio owners, providing an opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders about their experiences bringing games to market.

GameDevTober will run online from October 25 to 29, 2026.

Developers interested in attending can register through the Saudi Game Developers Community's LinkedIn page and join its Discord community for further information and discussions.
