DMCC Gaming Centre has joined Entertainment & Leisure MENA 2027 as its official Gaming Ecosystem Partner, as the Dubai exhibition expands its focus on gaming and esports.

The partnership will see DMCC Gaming Centre contribute to the event’s gaming and esports programme, including industry content and networking aimed at connecting gaming companies with operators, technology providers, investors and brands.

E&L MENA 2027 will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre from January 18 to 20.

Formerly known as DEAL Dubai, E&L MENA is expanding its programme to include gaming, esports and immersive technology, with dedicated content and industry discussions planned for the 2027 edition.

Writing on LinkedIn, Zeineddin Alqudah, Manager of DMCC Gaming Centre, said the partnership would give companies within its ecosystem greater access to the wider entertainment industry.

“For DMCC Gaming Centre companies, this is a practical opportunity: direct access to operators, venue investors, IP owners and brands who are actively building entertainment destinations across the region,” Alqudah said.

“We'll be contributing to the gaming and esports content programme and connecting our ecosystem with the right people on the floor.”

The partnership comes as DMCC continues to expand its gaming ecosystem in Dubai.

DMCC Gaming Centre reached 165 member companies in August after adding nearly 40 companies over the previous 12 months, representing annual growth of 30%.

The centre provides a dedicated platform for game developers, publishers, esports companies and other gaming businesses, connecting members with industry partners, investors, talent and international markets.

E&L MENA said the partnership is intended to create networking, partnership and market access opportunities for gaming companies, brands, investors and service providers attending the event.

The 2027 programme will include dedicated tracks covering gaming, esports and immersive technology, alongside thought-leadership sessions featuring industry figures.
